WINERIES - The greater Traverse City area is home to a number of terrific wineries. Some offer walk-in tastings, but many require reservations. We highly recommend that you call ahead. There are also several great wine tours that will take you to multiple destinations. Here are some of our favorites.

2. Northern Latitudes Distillery. It's a toss-up for us between the Ice Dunes Vodka and the Deer Camp Reserve bourbon whiskey.

3. Mammoth Distilling Cocktail Lounge. Choose from their wonderful cocktail menu, or try a flight of their locally distilled spirits.
